Support Leland's Youth/Young Adult (LITT) Ministry in the Annual American Cancer Society Breast Cancer Walk
**October 5, 2024**
"By coming together as a church and community, we can help the American Cancer Society fund groundbreaking breast cancer research, provide essential information and support, and empower people to reduce their breast cancer risk or detect it early when it’s most treatable."
Join us for a family-friendly, non-competitive 3-mile walk (with a 1-mile turnaround option) to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer initiatives. As part of the Making Strides movement, we encourage everyone to wear anything and everything pink! Be sure to bring comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate gear.
The new route will take us through Detroit's historic Corktown neighborhood on streets closed to vehicle traffic, offering a safe and scenic walk. Parking is available in surface lots, a parking deck, and on the streets of Corktown. Maps will be posted by September 1st.
